Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read this policy carefully before booking any bus, train, or vehicle service through our platform.

Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all bookings made through Travel.Bank-Pay.in, operated by Swacpay Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana. Users are requested to read this policy carefully before booking any bus, train, or vehicle service through our platform.

Bank-Pay acts only as a digital intermediary between Users and service providers such as bus operators, vehicle hire companies, and IRCTC. Each service provider has its own cancellation and refund rules, which will apply to the User's booking.

General Terms

  • Refund and cancellation timelines depend on the respective operator or service provider.
  • Platform convenience fees, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued only for bookings made via Travel.Bank-Pay.in or its official web/mobile applications.
  • Refunds are processed only to the original payment method used during booking.
  • Requests raised after the journey date/time are not eligible for refund.

Bus Ticket Cancellations

  • Cancellations can be initiated through the Travel.Bank-Pay.in user account or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation fees and timelines depend on the operator's specific policy, visible during booking and on the ticket.
  • Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 business days after confirmation.
  • Non-refundable promotional fares or last-minute bookings may not qualify for refunds.
  • Partial cancellations are permitted only if supported by the operator.

Ineligible Refunds

Missed boarding, incorrect passenger details, or delays caused by external factors like traffic or weather.

Vehicle Hire / Charter Bookings

  • Cancellations must be done via the Travel.Bank-Pay.in account or official support channels.
  • Refunds follow the operator's terms mentioned during booking. Generally, cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.
  • Advance or part payments may be forfeited if cancelled after the allowed period mentioned in the booking voucher.
  • If a booking is cancelled due to operator unavailability, Bank-Pay will coordinate a full refund or alternate vehicle arrangement.
  • Additional charges such as tolls, parking, entry fees, and driver bata already used are non-refundable.

Train Bookings (IRCTC Integration)

  • All train bookings on Travel.Bank-Pay.in are processed through IRCTC, and governed by IRCTC's terms and policies.
  • Refunds, cancellations, and reschedules follow IRCTC's rules and cannot be overridden by Bank-Pay.
  • Fully waitlisted tickets are auto-cancelled post chart preparation by IRCTC and refunded after applicable deductions.
  • Bank-Pay convenience charges are non-refundable, unless required by law.

Payment Gateway Failures

If payment is debited but booking confirmation fails, the transaction amount will be refunded automatically within 5–7 business days. In case the refund is not received, users may contact support@bank-pay.in with reference details for manual verification.

Refund Timelines

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
  • Wallet and UPI refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days.
  • Complex cases requiring operator validation may take up to 15 business days.

No-Show / Boarding Delay

If the User fails to report at the boarding point on time, the booking will be considered a 'No-Show' and will not be eligible for a refund.

Force Majeure

Bank-Pay and its partners shall not be liable for refunds in case of cancellations or interruptions due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or unforeseen operational constraints. Refund decisions will depend solely on the service provider's discretion.
